Lepharos’ mission is to provide support in developing skills and creating value in the Base Metals Sector through the development of new and existing SME’s by providing incubation support and focused programmes that ensure entrepreneurial sustainability.
Lepharo is situated in Springs, Ekurhuleni and was established in 2007 as a partnership between Impala Platinum, EXXARO, Zincor, SEDA Technical incubation programme and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
Lepharo offers a combination of business and technical training and mentoring for budding entrepreneurs, as well as the incubation space.
A key contributor to the success of Lepharo is the amount of energy placed in the technical and business skills that make up the SME’s training.

Our training facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and on hand technical expertise for all incubatees, whilst the SETA-accredited, NVC (New Venture Creation) registered scholarships are presented by qualified facilitators on site.
